Cherry Avenue Student

Community Service

Giving back to the community is an important principle to Cherry Avenue Middle School. We invite all to learn more about and particpate in the community service projects we promote throughout the year.

UFG South Sudan

United for good is a joint effort of middle schools across the district to raise money for a deserving cause. This year, students raised money through t-shirt sales to purchase computers for students in South Sudan. These computers help support the education of deserving kids in our global community.

Coins for Caring

Each year Cherry, along with schools throughout the district, raise money for Tulare’s Lighthouse Rescue Mission. This year our Bulldogs raised hundreds of dollars to donate to the outreach needs of women and children in our community.

Canned Food Drive

Cherry, together with schools across the district, collected toys and canned food for those who needed a little extra help this holiday season. Our Bulldogs filled bins of toys to help make a brighter holiday for many kids.

Kids Day

Kids Day is a special day throughout the valley to support Valley Children’s Hospital. Students at Cherry woke up early to sell newspapers and assist Valley Children’s Hospital in the amazing work they do for children in our area.

Christmas Gift Baskets

Deserving families in our school received a Christmas basket full of goodies our staff and students donated to help ease the stress of the holidays.
