Our Response to Intervention

At Cherry Ave, we want our Bulldogs to succeed and achieve the highest academic individual achievement possible through a variety of programs that we offer.  

 

• After School 6th grade Tutoring
• After School 7th and 8th Math and Language Arts -Mondays and Wednesdays 
• SAT meetings occur to monitor students in need of intervention and/or tutoring.
• Teachers run small group interventions in classrooms.

 

Cherry Avenue Middle School
After School Intervention Program 2022-23

 

7th and 8th Grade Math Tutoring (Roberts/Lantrip)

Geared for students who would benefit from supplemental math instruction with a credentialed teacher. 

Room 213 Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 3:30-4:30 

 

7th and 8th Grade Homework Help (Bronzan/Garcia)

Geared for students who would benefit from homework help with a credentialed teacher.

Room 204 Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 3:30-4:30

 

Dates: October 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19, 24, 26; November 2, 7, 9, 28, 30; December 5, 7, 12, 14; 

January 9, 11, 18, 23, 25, 30; February 1, 6, 8, 15, 22, 27; March 1, 13, 15, 20, 22, 27, 29;

April 12, 17, 19, 24, 26

BUS TRANSPORTATION WILL BE PROVIDED FOR HOMEWORK CLUB STUDENTS IF NEEDED
